Batsman with 10,000 runs in both formats

Here is the list of players who have 10,000 runs in both ODI or Test matches

Only seven players achieved this in both Test or ODI. And in the both fomats God of Cricket Sachin Tendulkar is in the top.

Sachin Tendulkar played 200 Test matches and scored 15,921 with an average of 53.79 which is highest by any batsman. He has 51 hundreds, 6 double hundreds and 68 half centuries in test cricket.
His highest score in Test is 248 runs vs Bangladesh. He made his Test debut vs Pakistan in 1989 at the age of sixteen.

In his ODI career he played 463 matches and scored 18,426 with an average of 44.83 which is highest by any batsman. He has 49 hundreds, 1 double hundred and 96 half centuries. He is the first batsman to reach 200 runs in ODI cricket history. He achieved this feat vs South Africa at Gwalior in 2010.
He is also a great off-spin and leg-spin part time bowler. He has 2 fifer in ODI cricket and 154 wickets and 46 wickets in Test matches.

Ricky Ponting is the greatest batsman of Australian Cricket Team. Ricky Ponting is the only cricketer in the history of  Test cricket to win 100 Test matches. He won three world cups 1999 under Steve waugh captaincy and two in his own captaincy 2003 and 2007. He played 168 Test matches and scored 13,378 with an average of 51.85. He has 41 hundreds, 6 double hundreds and 62 half centuries in test cricket.
In his ODI career he played 375 matches and scored 13,704 with an average of 42.07. He has 30 hundreds and 82 half centuries.

Jacques Kallis is one of the greatest cricketer of all time and greatest all rounder of gameHe played 166 Test matches and scored 13,289 with an average of 55.37. He has 45 hundreds, 2 double hundreds and 58 half centuries in test cricket. His highest score in Test is 224 runs. Took 292 wickets in Test Cricket and 273 wickets in ODI cricket.
In his ODI career he played 328 matches and scored 11,579 with an average of 44.36. He has 17 hundreds and 86 half centuries.

Rahul Dravid

Rahul Dravid is the former captain and former cricketer of Indian cricket team. He is one of the greatest batsman in the Cricket History. And now he is current overseas batting consultant for the Indian team and also head coach of Under-19 and India-A team.
He played 164 Test matches and scored 13,288 with an average of 52.31. He has 36 hundreds, 5 double hundreds and 63 half centuries in test cricket.

In his ODI career he played 344 matches and scored 10,889 with an average of 39.17. He has 12 hundreds and 83 half centuries.
There is only two Indians who have 10,000 runs in both Test and ODI cricket history is Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid.

He was as consistent as one can be. He was as reliable as one can be. He was always there when his team needed him. “If India were a car, Sachin Tendulkar were the driver, Rahul Dravid was the engine.”He was more consistent and reliable than Tendulkar. The only area in which Tendulkar overtook Dravid is in the statistics department. There is no other difference between these two batting Gods.  In fact there are many cricket gurus who consider Dravid as a superior to Tendulkar. It is really unfortunate that Rahul Dravid’s farewell wasn’t as special as Sachin’s.

In his Test career, he played 134 matches and scored 12,400 runs with an average of 57.14. He has 38 hundreds, 11 double hundreds, 1 triple hundred and 52 half centuries.

He is the only batsman to have ever scored century double century a triple century a quadraple century and a quintuple century in first class games over the course of a senior player.
He played 131 Test matches and scored 11,953 with an average of 52.89. He has 34 hundreds, 9 double hundreds and 48 half centuries in test cricket.
In his ODI career he played 299 matches and scored 10,405 with an average of 40.17. He has 19 hundreds and 63 half centuries.

his highest score of 374 against South Africa is the highest test score by a right handed batsman in test cricket.
He played 149 Test matches and scored 11,814 with an average of 49.85. He has 34 hundreds, 7 double hundreds and 50 half centuries in test cricket.
In his ODI career he played 448 matches and scored 12,650 with an average of 33.38. He has 19 hundreds and 77 half centuries.
